Today's NY Slashies event featured the inspiring journey of Emily, founder of 💅 @纽约化妆室Emily Studio.(in red book) Emily shared her exploration and entrepreneurial journey in the beauty industry, starting as a beauty blogger and establishing her own makeup business in New York.
During her time at the University of Pennsylvania, Emily first engaged with makeup artistry. From taking freelance gigs to founding her own studio and eventually opening a physical beauty store, she demonstrated how to transform passion into a thriving career. Her talk was packed with valuable insights and practical experience.

Nikki: A nurse by profession, she also works as a wedding planner, dedicated to creating unique wedding experiences.
Zeng Hao: An architect who has designed many renowned large-scale commercial complexes. Inspired by a childhood surrounded by photography, he now aspires to become a top-tier photographer.
Dahui: A designer and SVA graduate, she is the founder of AAAAH, a well-known cultural marketplace for Chinese brands in New York. She is organizing an offline second-hand swap market this December.
Principal Lü: Head of a Chinese school in the Upper East Side, deeply committed to Montessori education. Warm, thoughtful, and creative, she has a wide range of interests, including a passion for beauty.
Jack: A data analyst at Mitsubishi with strong proficiency in Japanese and extensive experience in corporate financial risk management. He is also an avid reader.
Mumu: Owner of MUE Clothing, a serial entrepreneur who has successfully opened two physical clothing stores.
Fengwei: A licensed CPA working full-time in audit at a Big Four firm. Also a model, he has a keen interest in international business expansion.
